The "Acoustic" side of the Innovation Double Bass Family uses nylon tape to build up the string. Under those wraps is a unique, non-metallic core which provides a gut-like tone and response without the cost or maintenance of gut upright bass strings. They hold their pitch well in climate and temperature changes.
This family of strings is seated firmly in the jazz, blues, folk, Americana musical genres. Whether you're playing straight pizz or using various slap techniques in Rockabilly and more, the Acoustic family of Innovation Double Bass strings has the sound, tension and feel to let you keep playing all night.
